Wedding Wednesday - Accessories

June 01, 2016  •  1 Comment

This weeks edition of Wedding Wednesday is where the sparkle-n-shine comes in and completes my gorgeous outfit. I'll admit that I saved a little and may have splurged a teeny bit as well but the finishing touches are what makes any outfit...right? Links to these products or something similar are within this post. Lets start from the bottom on up. Cue the Drake song. Don't worry, I'll wait.

SHOES

I knew my shoes weren't going to stay on all night so Payless pulled through with a pretty nude pump perfect for pictures for $29.99. I'm not a heels kinda girl so I walked in them just long enough for them to become annoying but if you can rock a heel these were great. I had a back up pair of silver laced Tom's my wonderful husband gifted me so I could dance the night away without any pain!

BRACELET & NECKLACE

Up next is the pretty pearl and rhinestone wrap bracelet from the David's Bridal Accessory shop. I got this little number in the "Buy One, Get One Half Off" sale with the pearl necklace pictured above for $34.75; shipping & tax included. I also purchased a headband from them but it got damaged while shipping, so I sent it right back. Good thing I did.

HEADBAND

I fell in love with this Crystal Strand Statement Headband when I went to a friends Chloe+Isabel party a mere two weeks before my event. At $58 plus tax & shipping, this was by far my priciest piece. But is wasn't that much of a splurge. At least that's what I tell my husband. There were also several earrings, necklaces and bracelets to go with this headband if you wanted a cohesive look. I wanted a mix of pearls and rhinestones for my accessories and I think I pulled it off.

UNDERGARMENTS

Yes, I'm going there! I was gifted a girdle or faja as I like to call it but lost too much weight to fit into it. So the thrifty online shopper that I am hopped onto to the inter-webs and scooped up the Stunning Support Strapless Bra for $62 plus tax and free shipping. As for undies, my surprise bachelorette party and Mama Mafia took care of that.

GROOMS ATTIRE - SUIT

Did you think I was going to leave the guys out of this equations? No way! For my wonderful husband we went a little more practical with his attire. His three piece suit was from the Joseph Abboud Collection at the Men's Wearhouse. Tailored to fit perfectly and the pieces double as work wear after the event. Doesn't he looks incredibly handsome?!

MEN'S ACCESSORIES

His blue polka dot bow tie and matching pocket square were from an Amazon Shop. I also purchased this for my son, father and father-in-law to create a cohesive look for pictures. I also asked them to wear similar colored suits and I had my mother & mother-in-law in grey dresses as well.

MEN'S UNDERGARMENTS

Just kidding!

Now that I've divulged the details of everything my hubby and I were wearing that day, don't you want to know who completed my look? Hair and makeup are next!
